Description
Transform your extension, garage or shed flat roof into a green roof. The Green Roof Kit has the materials you need to prepare your roof for the turf, sedum or suitable plants that you choose.
The kit contains Oldroyd Xv20 GreenXtra, a dark green studded drainage membrane with perforations. It holds some rainwater but prevents waterlogging of the roof. The Oldroyd Tp filter fleece goes on top to retain the soil, and the Safeguard Root Barrier goes underneath to protect the roof waterproofing.
The Green Roof Kit provides materials to cover up to 9 m2. In the kit you will find:
1 x Oldroyd Typar Filter Fleece (2 m × 5 m)
3 x Oldroyd Xv20 GreenXtra sheets (2 m × 1.5 m)
1 x Safeguard Root Barrier Membrane (2 m × 5 m)
Remember: Preparation is key! Make sure your roof surface is brushed clean of debris and has a good quality intact waterproofing layer free of defects before you start. There should be some form of perimeter drainage or guttering for rainwater run-off, and the structure should be strong enough to support your choice of plants.
